Virtual Hyundai — Interactive AR Campaign Concept

An interactive campaign concept created for Hyundai aimed at engaging a younger audience of new and first time drivers through immersive digital experiences. The brief focused on promoting Hyundai in a way that felt innovative, accessible and relevant to digitally connected consumers.

The final concept was designed as a multi layered Snapchat filter that allowed users to project a virtual Hyundai vehicle into any environment using their phone camera. Users could explore the exterior of the car through motion based interaction before transitioning into an immersive interior view by holding out their hand, creating the effect of sitting inside the vehicle. The campaign combined augmented reality, user interaction and experiential advertising to create a more engaging alternative to traditional automotive marketing.
